Get to Know Me
Jordan Bierlein, LMFT
I am passionate about helping people create positive change and we will collaborate together to achieve your goals. I work with adults, teenagers, families, and couples. I specialize in working with issues of anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. I am trained in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and the Gottman Method. Other modalities I incorporate in my work include: family systems, mindfulness, attachment theory, and solution focused therapy.
My clients tell me my therapeutic style is engaged, playful, and approachable. I support clients in their goals, applying psycho-education, years of experience, therapeutic training and my own creativity and personality. I believe the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship, which is why we will make sure we are a good fit.
Outside of my professional life, I love spending time with my partner and our two dogs. I enjoy many outdoor activities including backpacking, skiing and kayaking. On a rainy day, you can find me playing board games or reading a sci-fi novel.
